Islamabad: The government removed Secretary Information and Broadcasting Division Shahira Shahid from the post and appointed Sohail Ali Khan as Additional Secretary in charge of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
According to the notification issued by the Establishment Division in this regard, Muhammad Sohail Ali Khan, Grade 21 officer of the Information Group, was performing the duties of Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
After notification, Mohammad Sohail Ali Khan Additional Secretary (In-charge) Information Division will perform his duties. Apart from this, Shahira Shahid was directed to report to the Establishment Division.
Sohail Ali Khan of Information Group Grade 21 was posted as Additional Secretary Information and MDPTV, before that Sohail Ali Khan served as Director General, Principal Information Officer of Radio Pakistan and Press Consul in Jeddah.
