First Test, India beat Australia by an innings and 132 runs

India defeated Australia by an innings and 132 runs in the first Test match.

On the third day of the first Test played in Nagpur, the Australian team was bowled out for 91 runs.

For the visitors, Steve Smith scored 25 runs and Marence Labushin scored 17 runs while David Warner and Alex Carey scored 10 runs and 10 runs respectively.

India’s Ravichandran Ashwin took 8 wickets while Ravindra Jadeja took 7 wickets in the match.

The Australian team was bowled out for 177 runs in the first innings while India scored 400 runs in the first innings.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma scored 120 runs, Axar Patel scored 84 runs and Ravindra Jadeja scored 70 runs.

Australia’s Todd Murphy took 7 wickets.

India has taken a one-nil lead in the three-Test series.
