Security forces conducted an intelligence operation in Zarmelan area of South Waziristan, in which 8 terrorists were killed, while two soldiers were also martyred.
According to ISPR, 8 terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire during the operation.
Arms and ammunition were recovered from the killed terrorists.
The slain terrorists were involved in terrorist activities against the security forces and the killing of innocent civilians.
ISPR says that two soldiers were also martyred in the operation.
