Hundreds of shops were burnt down in the market of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
According to foreign media, Bongo Bazaar and 3 commercial areas adjacent to it were severely affected by the fire and around 600 firefighters contributed to the efforts to control the fire.
A spokesman of the Bangladesh Army says that 1 helicopter of the Air Force also joined the effort to put out the fire.
Shopkeepers of the market say that thousands of shops were burnt down and our everything was destroyed.
