The lieutenant colonel of the Indian army killed the woman

Lieutenant Colonel Amarinder Singh Walia of the Indian Army was arrested on the charge of the alleged murder of a woman and the investigation started.

According to media reports, the police say that Lt. Col. Amarinder Singh Walia is a public relations officer in the Four Corps of the Indian Army.

According to the police, the woman came to Guwahati on February 14 to meet Lieutenant Colonel Amarinder and on February 15, the body of the woman wrapped in plastic was recovered.

The investigation revealed that the soldier kidnapped and killed the woman and dumped the body on the highway. The body was shifted to the hospital for medical examination.

“We have arrested Amarinder Singh Walia and started questioning. Our investigation is in the initial stage and we cannot say much,” a police officer said.
