The terrible fire in the forests of Chile has turned the green forest into a pile of ashes. So far, 23 people have been reported dead.
A foreign news agency Reuters reports According to the Chilean forest fire, 5 hectares of forest has been reduced to ashes while 23 people have died and more than 900 people have been injured.
Firefighters in Chile are struggling to contain wildfires in different parts of the forest. Rescue sources say that due to the terrible fire, the temperature in the area has risen abnormally.
The Chilean government has declared a state of emergency in the Lauraconia region south of Noble and Biobio, while the military has been called in to help with the rescue.
At least 23 people are reported dead and at least 979 injured, 16 of them in critical condition, according to Chile’s Interior Minister Carolina Toha.
Carolina Toha added that the death toll is expected to rise as Toha said there were unconfirmed reports of at least 10 people missing.
