The White House expressed regret over the Peshawar blast


The White House has expressed regret over the loss of precious human lives in the suicide blast inside a mosque in Peshawar.

White House National Security Council Spokesperson Adrienne Watson called the attack on worshipers an unforgivable act.

He further said that the sad and heartbreaking news has come out from Peshawar, expressing condolences to the bereaved families for the loss of precious human lives.

The White House spokesman said that terrorism is indefensible, targeting worshipers is an irresponsible act.

Adrian Watson further said that the US is ready to assist Pakistan in its rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts.

It should be noted that 100 people were martyred and more than 140 injured in a suicide blast in a mosque inside police lines in Peshawar. The injured are undergoing treatment in various hospitals.
