Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah.
In the meeting, the current situation in the Palestinian territories and the strengthening of Saudi-Palestinian relations were discussed.
According to the Saudi News Agency, President Mahmoud Abbas praised Saudi Arabia and its role in supporting the Palestinian issue.
He praised the Saudi support for the rights of freedom and sovereignty in Palestine under the Arab Peace Agreement.
It should be remembered that this peace agreement was reached in 2002, in which the conflict with Israel was settled in such a way as to establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
