In India, a state minister was shot dead by a police officer. The minister was shifted to the hospital in a critical condition while the video of the incident has also surfaced.
According to Indian media, Odisha State Health and Family Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das was shot dead by an Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police in Jharsuguda district.

Health Minister Sehat Das was shot in the chest and his condition is said to be critical. They are being taken to Jharsuguda airport from where they will be flown to Bhubaneswar.
Videos of the incident are doing the rounds on social media, in which the health minister can be seen being shot, bleeding from his chest, and people trying to lift the injured minister.

Police said the sub-inspector fired at least four to five shots when the minister was getting out of his car at Gandhi Square. The accused ASI has been caught by local people and handed over to the police.
The police official has been identified as ASI Gopal Das, but the motive behind the murderous attack is yet to be ascertained.
