Dozens of immigrants arrested for violating laws

Riyadh: Authorities in Saudi Arabia have arrested 265 migrants, including Pakistanis, for violating Iqama and labor laws.

According to Urdu News, the Riyadh police in Saudi Arabia have arrested 265 migrants from 10 countries for violating Iqama and labor laws.

The migrants are from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sudan, Yemen, Egypt, Nepal, Afghanistan, Ethiopia and Sri Lanka.

The Department of Public Security says that the arrests took place in the southern neighborhoods of the capital and around the annual vehicle inspection (Fiss al-Duri) stations.

The detained foreigners have been handed over to the concerned institution after legal proceedings.

The Department of Public Security says that a local citizen has been arrested for providing transportation to 16 infiltrators, 11 of whom are from Yemen, 3 from Ethiopia and one from Somalia.
