The barbaric atrocities of the Israeli army continue in Palestine. So far this year, at least 84 Palestinian civilians have been brutalized by Zionist soldiers. Thus, 2023 is proving to be a bloody year for the Palestinians.

In the latest demonstration of brutality, Zionist soldiers shot and martyred a Palestinian youth in the occupied West Bank.

According to the Palestinian Health Minister, Israeli soldiers shot and killed 23-year-old Yazan Omar Jamil Khasib at the entrance of al-Baira near Ramallah.

After the martyrdom of Yazan Omar by the Israeli army, a statement was issued that the soldiers considered the young man suspicious and asked him to identify himself, in response to which the young man took out a knife. The soldiers opened fire on him to ‘disarm’ him. Israeli soldiers were safe in this incident.

Since the beginning of 2023, at least 84 Palestinians have been martyred by the Israeli army.

Earlier on Thursday, Zionist soldiers martyred four Palestinians, including a young boy, in Jenin.

Forty-eight hours after this incident, in a raid in the same city, six more Palestinians were killed by Israeli soldiers.

In January, Israeli soldiers martyred nine unmarried Palestinians, including an elderly woman, during an operation in a refugee camp in Jenin.

According to the human rights organization Batsalem, in 2022, the Israeli army killed 170 Palestinian civilians.

During the two and a half months of this year, the number of martyrdoms of Palestinians has reached 84.
