The High Court dismissed the contempt of court petition pending since 2018 against Nawaz Sharif for his anti-judiciary speeches.
Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Amir Farooq dismissed the application for non-compliance. No one appeared in court on behalf of the petitioner.
A contempt of court petition against Nawaz Sharif was filed by local citizen Adnan Iqbal. In the petition, contempt of court action was requested against Nawaz Sharif for his 2018 statements.
