Peshawar;  Trials against 213 named accused in May 9 cases started

Peshawar: Trials have been started against 213 accused named in May 9 cases, ATC has issued notices in this regard.

According to Express News, trials have been started against 213 suspects named in the cases of arson and vandalism on May 9 and 10. In this regard, anti-terrorism courts have issued notices to 164 accused to appear.

It is reported that the police have completed the investigation in six cases and submitted challans against 213 accused in the courts. The courts have issued notices to the accused in four cases. More than 350 accused have been named in the siege cases.

The prosecution says that PTI’s former provincial ministers and assembly members are also named in the cases. Peshawar Division cases are registered in eight police stations of Khyber, Mohmand and Peshawar.
