Peshawar: The female police officer of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sonia Shamroz, won the international award.
According to Express News, Sonia Shamrose was awarded Police Officer of the Year at the International Women in Policing Conference 2023 held in Auckland, New Zealand.
Sonia Shamroz has served as DP Bitgram and DPO Chitral.
During her posting in Chitral, she set up a special desk on violence against women for which she was internationally acclaimed.
