3 suspects arrested for cutting railway line near Mardan

Peshawar: Railways Police Peshawar Division arrested three suspects while stealing railway line from Mardan.

The accused cut 2 railway tracks with a gas cylinder cutter while the railway line was kept near the track for changing. Two 84-foot railway lines worth one and a half lakhs were recovered.

The three accused were caught red-handed on the information of the railway staff near the in-mand gate Rishkai. Accused Asif Nawaz, Luqman Khan and Falak Niaz were arrested along with gas cutting kit, cylinder and stolen tracks.

A case has been registered against the accused in the complaint of PWI Railways in Mardan Railways Police Station.
