Lahore: FIA Commercial Banking Circle Lahore has arrested the ringleader of the fake check making gang.
On the special instructions of FIA Lahore Zone Director Sarfaraz Khan Work and Deputy Director Commercial Banking Circle Hasan Sajjad Naqvi, the team headed by Sub Inspector Hafiz Tariq arrested the accused Imran Bhatti in a joint operation with the law enforcement agencies.
The accused is the ringleader of the fake and tampered check cashing gang, from whose possession forged and tampered checks have been recovered, several FIRs have been registered against the accused in FIA Lahore.
A case has been registered against the accused under Sections 109, 420, 468, 471 of the Pakistan Penal Code while further investigation of the accused is going on.
