Karachi: Even in Ramadan, consumers will get gas only during certain working hours.

According to the spokesperson of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), gas supply will be closed for 6 hours during the day, however, gas supply will be ensured during Suhar and Iftar.

The spokesperson further said that the country’s gas reserves are decreasing by 8 to 10 percent every year. There is also a clear shortage of gas supply and demand in the Sui Southern Gas system. Therefore, gas profiling will be continued to ensure better gas pressure.

The spokesman said that the hours of gas profiling will be from 8 am to 2:30 pm. These working hours have been determined in the context of food preparation in the month of Ramadan.
