Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif was telephoned by the Prime Minister of Kuwait His Excellency Sheikh Muhammad Sabah Al-Salam Al-Sabah and congratulated him on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

During the conversation, Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif mentioned the congratulatory message from the Kuwaiti leadership on the occasion of his election and thanked the Kuwaiti Prime Minister.

Highlighting the long-standing and historical brotherly relations between Pakistan and Kuwait, he reiterated the strength of Pakistan-Kuwait bilateral relations and Pakistan’s determination to turn these relations into a mutually beneficial partnership for the people of both countries.

In this regard, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif not only stressed the need to promote economic and trade cooperation between Pakistan and Kuwait, but also assured Pakistan of the early implementation of the agreements and memorandums of understanding signed between the two countries last year. done

The two leaders prayed for the security and prosperity of the people of Pakistan and Kuwait, brotherhood among the Muslim Ummah, and especially for the end of the ongoing Israeli oppression and oppression of the innocent Palestinian brothers and sisters.

The Prime Minister of Kuwait expressed his best wishes for the people of Pakistan and expressed the desire of the Kuwaiti government to further promote cooperation with Pakistan.
