Karachi: Polio virus has been found in the environmental samples of Badin district.
According to the Ministry of National Health, polio virus has been confirmed in 83 environmental samples this year, and the virus found in these environmental samples is related to cross-border.
The same virus has been found in all positive environmental samples and two polio cases this year.
The Ministry of National Health says that polio is an incurable disease that attacks children under 5 years of age, so ensuring the protection of children across the country from the polio virus is the most important thing at this time.
The Ministry of Health has appealed to all parents to make their children below 5 years of age mandatory to get polio vaccine.
