Lahore: The High Court has issued a bailable arrest warrant for Monis Elahi’s wife.
In the case of canceling the bail of Rasakh Elahi, Tahrim Elahi and others, the court issued a bailable arrest warrant for Munis Elahi’s wife Tahrim Elahi for non-appearance. Apart from this, the court has also issued a bailable arrest warrant for the second accused Saira Anwar for non-appearance.
A two-member bench of the Lahore High Court, headed by Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry, heard the petitions challenging the prosecution’s move to grant interim bail.
In the petition filed by the prosecution, it has been argued that the trial court granted interim bail to Rasakh Elahi and others against the law. The court should annul the decision to grant bail.
