Asim Khan won the match 0-3 and qualified for the next stage, he will face the player from the host country in the next round.
Another Pakistani boxer Shahzeb also managed to win his fight.
Shahzeb got a bye in the first round, in the second round he defeated Spain’s Dan Olten Andre 0-3.
Shahzeb will face an American player in the next round.
