Polio virus was confirmed in a 9-month-old child in Orakzai district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, after which this is the sixth case of this year.
The health department has confirmed the case and said that the virus has been confirmed in a 9-month-old child, after which the number of cases reported this year has reached 6.
It should be noted that so far this year, 3 cases were reported from Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while two cases were reported from Karachi.
