Islamabad: The Accountability Court has extended the interim bail of Bushra Bibi in the corruption and Tosha Khana investigation case.
In the case of 190 million pounds corruption and Toshakhana NAB investigation, Bushra Bibi’s bail application was heard by Judge Muhammad Bashir of Accountability Court. On this occasion, former first lady Bushra Bibi appeared in the court.
During the hearing, the lawyer said that if the court disposes of this application, NAB will summon it again, to which the NAB prosecutor said that they are filing this application for the third time on the same ground. The investigating officer has said that the arrest warrant has not been issued yet. Neither want to be arrested yet. This application is not admissible.
The lawyer took a position in the court that in the case of Maryam Nawaz, the Lahore High Court has given instructions to inform before the arrest. On the one hand, NAB appears in Nawaz Sharif’s case without notice. On the one hand, NAB Chairman PTI was kidnapped on May 9, to which the NAB prosecutor said that it was not a kidnapping, but an arrest.
The investigating officers of NAB submitted a written statement in the court in which it was said that the arrest of Bushra Bibi is not yet wanted.
Later, the court extended Bushra Bibi’s interim bail till November 15 and adjourned the hearing while calling for arguments.
