In the HBL PSL season 8, Karachi Kings have included Akif Javed in the squad in place of the injured Mir Hamza.
In the first match played by Karachi Kings against Peshawar Zalmi, Mir Hamza’s finger was fractured by a ball.
The Event Technical Committee of PSL approved a change in the squad to Karachi Kings after Mir Hamza’s injury.
It should be noted that Multan Sultans’ fast bowler Shahnawaz Dhani has also been ruled out of the PSL due to a fractured finger and Mohammad Ilyas has been included in the squad in his place.
Apart from this, Quetta Gladiators’ batsman Ehsan Ali has also been ruled out of the event due to injury and experienced all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has been included in the team in his place.
