A cricket website has claimed that the International Cricket Council (ICC) will look into Pakistan team director Mickey Arthur’s statement.
Mickey Arthur had described the World Cup match between Pakistan and India as a mutual series of the Indian board.
The website quoted ICC chairman Greg Barclay as saying that whoever organizes the event is always criticized.
“We always try to improve things, this is just the beginning of the event, let’s see how things go,” added the ICC chairman.
“We will look at what can be improved, I am confident that it will be an exceptional World Cup,” he said.
