Lahore: The co-accused of PML-N leader Shehbaz Sharif were acquitted in the Ashiana Iqbal reference.
Accountability Court Lahore acquitted Kamran Kayani and Nadeem Zia, co-accused of PML-N President and former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the Ashiana Iqbal reference.
It should be noted that the co-accused Kamran Kayani and Nadeem Zia had joined the investigation later, while the court had reserved its decision on whether or not to issue summons notices to both of them.
The court had reserved the verdict to the extent of Kamran Kayani and Nadeem Zia, which was released today and in the light of the arguments of the lawyers and the NAB report, Shahbaz Sharif’s co-accused Kamran Kayani and Nadeem Zia were acquitted in the Ashiana Iqbal reference.
