Order to bring the matter of appointment of Raziq Sanjrani as MD Sandek Metals to the notice of the Prime Minister

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court ordered to send a court decision to the Prime Minister, Secretary Petroleum, Accountant General and Chairman SECP on the appointment of Chairman Senate’s brother Razzaq Sanjrani as MD Sandek Metals, in which it has been asked to look into this appointment. Is it true or not?

According to Express News, a hearing was held in the Islamabad High Court on the petition against the appointment of Chairman Senate’s brother Raziq Sanjrani as MD Sandek Metals. Justice Babar Sattar issued a written decision in the allotment case.

The court said that the appointment of Chairman Senate’s brother Raziq Sanjrani as MD Sandek Metals is correct or not. The matter should be brought to the notice of the Prime Minister through the Principal Secretary. The Islamabad High Court ordered to send a copy of the judgment to the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister and asked the Registrar’s Office to send a copy of the judgment to the Principal Secretary.

The court also ordered to send a copy of the judgment to Secretary Petroleum, Accountant General and Chairman SECP. The court said in the decision that other parties including the Prime Minister should see the appointment of Razak Sanjrani without taking the effect of judicial observation. Is the appointment correct or not?

The court said that in 2011, the Prime Minister approved the summary of appointment of Raziq Sanjrani as MD, the approved summary states that this appointment is the authority of the board of directors of the company for three years, after every three years SE Did the redeployment company continue to report to the CP? Not before the court but the constitutional court cannot turn a blind eye when the record is revealed.

In the judgement, the court said that the court would like the matter of appointment to be brought to the notice of the Prime Minister through the Principal Secretary, it is also up to the SECP to see whether the board of directors has appointed the MD as per the law or not.
