London: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has said that Nawaz Sharif’s return and the decision of Chairman PTI to participate in the election or not will be in accordance with the law.
Talking to the media in London, Anwarul Haq Kakar said that the caretaker government will take steps according to the law on Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan and we will review the status of Nawaz Sharif’s judicial permission, and in this case also from the Ministry of Law. Feedback will be taken.
He clarified that the caretaker government is not affiliated with any political party, we are working according to the constitutional and legal framework and do not want to give the impression that we are against any political party or group.
Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar said that in the election, what I said about Chairman PTI was twisted and unfortunately people were given a wrong impression. The law will decide whether Imran Khan will participate in the election or not.
The Caretaker Prime Minister said that all these matters are legal and not political. It is not possible for the Deputy Commissioner to lock someone up and say that you cannot participate in the election, I cannot change the law, nor do I have any authority.
He said that my visit to London should not be given a political color because I did not have any contact or meeting with any political party, but there were meetings with businessmen, one of which has shown interest in investing billions of dollars in Pakistan.
Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar said that there is no deal or slack with anyone, in fact the media runs such news to satisfy their hunger. If I myself had been involved in the May 9 incident, I would have wanted punishment for myself.
The Caretaker Prime Minister said that the Minister of Health has informed about vision in Punjab, the injection has been removed from many medical stores, those who are negligent are being identified.
He said that this injection was for another disease which was also used on diabetic patients, those involved in the incident will be punished.
In response to a question, Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar said that the decision of privatization is not of the IMF, but it is to remove the deficit of the institutions because there is a fear that the country will not go bankrupt while giving subsidies to these institutions. The process of privatization of two institutions will be completed.
