Pakistan’s young mountaineer Shahroz Kashif is all set to re-climb Mount Manaslu, the eighth highest peak in the world. Pakistan’s Sarbaz Ali will also go to the ‘True Summit’ of Manaslu while Pakistan’s woman mountaineer Naila Kayani will start the Manaslu summit next week.

The height of Mount Manaslu in Nepal is 8163 meters and it is the eighth highest peak in the world.

Pakistan’s Shahroz Kashif and Sarbaz Ali summited Mount Manaslu in 2021, but after their summit, it was revealed that the highest point of the mountain is not where every climber has been climbing it, but 10 meters ahead of it.

Although the summit of Shahroz Kashif and Sarbaz Ali with him was recognized as legitimate, the two mountaineers declared that they would follow the rules and go to the actual summit.

Pakistan’s Sajid Sidpara summited the actual summit of Manaslu last year.

Shahroz Kashif and Sarbaz Ali are currently at Manaslu Base Camp and have completed their rotation for their summit push.

Pakistan’s female mountaineer Naila Kayani has also reached Manaslu to climb her ninth peak above 8,000 meters.

Naila Kayani is the only Pakistani woman to climb 8 peaks above 8,000 meters and she will also become the first Pakistani woman to climb Manaslu.

Naila Kayani has so far climbed Mount Everest, K2, Nanga Parbat, Gesherburm One, Gesherburm Two, Annapurna, Lhotse and Broad Peak.

The three Pakistani climbers will begin their final expedition on Monday and all three are aiming to reach the top of Manaslu by September 20.
