Karachi: There is a possibility of large-scale reshuffle in Sindh’s bureaucracy, in this regard the list has been sent to the Election Commission.
The caretaker provincial government has prepared a list of appointments and transfers of officers and sent it to the Election Commission on the issue of bureaucracy change in Sindh. The current commissioners and deputy commissioners will be changed across Sindh, in this regard, the notification of the transfer is likely to be issued by this evening.
According to sources, Agha Wasif will be the Finance Secretary, Hasan Naqvi will be the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. Apart from this, Najam Shah will be the Home Secretary, Manzoor Shaikh will be the Local Government Secretary. It has been decided to make Khadim Rind the Karachi Police Chief while Tariq Dharijo is proposed to be posted as DIG Hyderabad.
Imran Qureshi, Azhar Mughal, Irfan Bahadur, Arif Aslam Rao are proposed to be appointed SSP in different districts of Karachi. If the Election Commission does not object to the list sent by the Sindh government, the notifications of appointments and transfers will be issued today.
