The court ordered the recovery of the missing citizen by August 1
The Islamabad High Court asked the police for a progress report while giving time till August 1 for the recovery of Ali Nawaz Awan’s brother Umar Nawaz Awan.
The court remarked that we feel sad that justice cannot be given by sitting in the High Court, whoever has it should know that there is Allah above.
Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri of the High Court heard the petition filed for the recovery of former MNA Ali Nawaz Awan’s brother Umar Nawaz. Chief Commissioner Noor Ul Amin Mengal and IG Islamabad Akbar Nasir Khan also appeared in the High Court.
The court remarked that the Ministry of Defense reports that Umar Nawaz is not with his subordinates.
The court inquired to tell us what the Islamabad police investigation says. Can you tell me if there is progress? The servant was picked up from Islamabad, he was going with his family who was picked up, is there any fear of God or not?
The public prosecutor argued that a report is pending and a letter has been written to the IB for geo-fencing, adding that there is a trend of self-imposed disappearances.
Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri remarked that the person of Allah above is also watching, the father has been picked up in front of four girls, is he a political activist, he has been asked before if he is involved in any attack.
Zahir Kazim said that a bureaucrat was also missing and then returned on his own.
The court remarked that he was involved in some case or went there and came back.
IG Islamabad said that they are trying their best, God willing, they will succeed.
Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri remarked that if he is involved in any crime, then he should be presented before the court, there is no political case against him, an employee was picked up in front of the family in I8, we can only tell the police that you have to investigate, even if they order to change the IG, then the police have to tell it.
IK Islamabad requested to give two weeks’ time. The court remarked that whoever has it should know that Allah is above, the top bosses of Islamabad are in the court, we have to tell them, Babar Awan Advocate said that these are not bosses, they are civil servants, if someone is not doing his job, action is taken against him, they should be given time till tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, not two weeks.
The court adjourned the hearing while ordering recovery till August 1.
