Karachi: FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Cell has arrested a human trafficker who was sending citizens abroad with lakhs of rupees.
According to the spokesperson, the crackdown is ongoing to arrest human traffickers under the direction of Director FIA Karachi Zone. Smuggler Ltaf Hussain was arrested.
Arrested accused is involved in heinous crime of human trafficking, accused Altaf Hussain was arrested from Clifton area of Karachi.
According to the FIA spokesperson, the arrested accused demanded Rs 50 lakh from the citizen to send him to Canada, and also received Rs 16 lakh from the victim. The accused is also involved in making fake documents under the guise of immigration abroad.
According to the spokesperson, investigation has been started against the accused while raids are being conducted to arrest his other associates.
