Shangla: The spokesperson of PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has said that the planning of an assassination attack on the adviser to the Prime Minister Engineer Amir in Shangla was foiled.
In this regard, Akhtar Wali said that the Amir Maqam is for good, we cannot be intimidated by such attacks of terrorism, in this age of sedition, they treat politics as Jihad, they do not care about their lives to get Pakistan out of the current problems.
On the same issue, the sources said that suspicious persons were seen on the way to the Advisor to the Prime Minister and President (N) League Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engineer Amir Maqam in Martung Shangla.
According to the sources, after the incident, security personnel including DPO Shangla surrounded the area and started a search operation against the suspicious persons.
It should be noted that at the same place in Shangla, there was a suicide attack on the advisor to the Prime Minister, Engineer Amir Maqam in 2014, in which 8 people were killed.
Condemnation of the caretaker information minister
On the other hand, Caretaker Minister of Information and Endowments Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Barrister Feroze Jamal Shah has strongly condemned the attack on Engineer Amir Maqam.
He said that the evil elements disturb the peace of the area, the evil elements will never succeed in their nefarious purposes.
