The schedule of Pakistan cricket team’s tour to Sri Lanka has been announced, the series of 2 Test matches will be played in Galle and Colombo.
The first Test will be played at the Galle International Stadium from July 16 to 20, while the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo will host the second Test from July 24 to 28.
Last year, Pakistan team won the Test match by 4 wickets after crossing the target of 342 runs at the Galle International Stadium, which is the record for winning the Test by crossing the highest target at this ground.
The last time Pakistan team played a test match at Sinhalese Sports Club was in 2014. In this field, Pakistan team has played 6 test matches, out of which they have won one and lost one while 4 tests have been drawn.
The Pakistan cricket team will arrive in Colombo on July 9 and will also play two-day warm-up matches on July 11 and 12 before the Test series.
This is Pakistan team’s first series of ICC World Test Championship 2023-25.
The last time Pakistan team visited Sri Lanka was in July last year where the Test series played was tied one apiece.
