The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) is facing challenges in booking 32 seats together for the Pakistan team’s departure to India to participate in the South Asian Football Federation (SAF) Championship.
According to sources, there are difficulties in getting flight options from Mauritius to India in the morning, the Pakistan Football Federation has also contacted the Indian Federation for the best flight options.
Sources said that evening flights can be found for the Pakistan team, in case of an evening flight, the Pakistan team will reach Bangalore on the match day itself.
Mumbai to Bangalore flight duration from Mauritius is 12 hours.
According to sources, the SAFF Cup match between Pakistan and India is scheduled to be held on Wednesday evening. India-Pakistan match may have to be rescheduled if it reaches Wednesday morning.
It may be noted that the Indian visas to the Pakistan team were issued today with delay, due to the delay in issuing the visas, the Pakistan team could not go on the pre-booked flight.
Pakistan was earlier scheduled to leave Mauritius for India on Sunday.
