A father sacrifices everything for the happiness of his children, but sometimes the children reward these sacrifices in such a way that the father is forced to stumble.

On Father’s Day, the elderly living in Lahore’s Edhi Home also hope that their children will visit them on that day or someone will express their love by saying Happy Father’s Day on the phone.

He further told that when he was in Karachi, his daughters used to visit him sometimes, but he had not met his sons for many years. Mubeen Ahmed, with teary eyes and a hoarse voice, told that now Tuan’s children have also got married, the eldest son is 40 years old. But it is a pity that he could not participate in the marriage of the children.

He said that he loved his eldest son the most and left his job abroad for him and came back but this son also did not support him. Now I am spending the remaining days of my life. What my children have done to me may happen to them tomorrow, but I am a father, so I cannot forgive my children.

In Bilqis Edhi Home, like Mubeen Ahmed, there are a few more elderly people whose children have abandoned them in their old age and now the workers of Edhi Foundation are engaged in serving them. There are many people whose sons kicked them out of the house at the request of their wives.

Zameer Ahmed said that we try to give good food to these elderly people and take care of their health. Try to treat so that these people can be happy.
