Peshawar: This year, 141 police personnel have been martyred and 222 injured in the incidents of target killing and terrorism in Peshawar.
A report has been released regarding the incidents of terrorism and police target killing in Peshawar, which states that 41 cases of police target killing and terrorist incidents have been registered in the city so far this year.
According to the report, 141 police personnel have been martyred and 222 injured in these incidents since January. Last month, 5 officers were martyred, 4 were injured, while this month, 3 police officers were martyred and one was injured.
The report states that 116 policemen were martyred and 189 were injured in January, 2 policemen were martyred and 5 were injured in February, and 7 policemen were martyred and 18 were injured in March. Similarly, in April, 8 police personnel were martyred and 5 injured.
