There has been an exchange of prisoners of war between Russia and Ukraine, after which dozens of prisoners left for their respective countries.
Andrey Yermak, a presidential advisor of Ukraine, said on social media that Russia has released 116 Ukrainian soldiers.
He said that among the released prisoners were also officials who defended the Russian attacks on Mariupol.
He said that the snipers who were fighting in Kherson area and deployed in Bakhmut city have also been released.
On the other hand, Russian Defense Ministry officials said that Ukraine has released 63 military personnel in exchange of prisoners.
