Karachi: Dr. Saeed Uddin, chairman of Inter Board Karachi, has decided to give the MCQs paper in the last half hour this time due to paper leak concerns.
Interboard chairman said that MCQs question paper will be given to the students in the last half hour to prevent duplication. He said that the students come half an hour late due to the lure of MCQs, so this time we have decided to give the MCQs last so that no one can copy.
He said that children are instructed to write relevant and concise rather than long and irrelevant writing.
It should be noted that in the first phase of the intermediate examinations under the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Karachi, the annual examinations for 2023 of all groups of the twelfth grade are starting from Tuesday, May 30, 2023. In which more than 150,000 male and female students will participate.
The exams will be for Science Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, Science General, Home Economics, Commerce Regular, Commerce Private, Arts Regular, Arts Private, Special Candidates, Home Economics Groups and Diploma in Physical Education.
In the morning shift, there will be exams of science pre-medical, pre-engineering, science general and home economics groups from 9 am to 12 pm, in which more than 59 thousand students will participate, while in the evening shift, from 2 pm to 5 pm. The exams of Commerce Regular, Commerce Private, Arts Regular, Arts Private, Special Candidates and Diploma in Physical Education will be conducted in which more than 56 thousand candidates will participate.
A total of 211 examination centers have been established in the morning and evening shifts for the Intermediate Annual Examinations 2023, in which 117 examination centers have been established in the morning shift and 94 in the evening shift. A total of 59 examination centers have been declared highly sensitive, in which 30 are in the morning shift and 29 are in the evening shift.
Letters to Additional Chief Secretary Home Department, Universities and Boards Department Government of Sindh, Secretary Colleges Education and Literacy Department Government of Sindh, Commissioner Karachi, Director General Rangers, IG Police, K Electric and Water and Sewerage Board for peaceful and uninterrupted conduct and convenience of students. have been written so that law and order, security of examination centers and uninterrupted supply of electricity and water can be made possible during the examinations.
Like last year, special arrangements have been made this year to prevent copying, vigilance officers, center control officers, center superintendents, examination staff, teachers and students are allowed to use mobile phones, tablets, laptops and Carrying of electronic devices will not be allowed. If a student is found with duplicate material or a mobile phone during the examination, he/she will be disqualified from taking the examination for three years under the law of using illegal means for copying. Punishment will be given.
Section 144 will be enforced around the examination centers under which the opening of photostat machine shops near the examination centers, the movement of unauthorized persons in the examination centers and the use of mobile phones will be strictly prohibited.
