At the inauguration of K4 project, it was said that this project will be completed in 2 years. He said that this project is once again cheated and a fraud by the people of Karachi.
Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said that the K4 project is a 65 million gallon per day project, it is a project to supply water to Karachi from Kenjhar Lake. We should be told why no work is being done from KB feeder to Kenjhar Lake. The water quota for Karachi from the Indus River is one percent. Muslim League-N, People’s Party and MQM are included in the federal government, these parties should tell whether they have arranged one percent more water from the Indus River or not.
He said that 126 billion rupees of K4 project was 2 years ago. 2 years ago, the value of the dollar was different and it is different today. Then how will the cost of 126 billion rupees be? Imran Khan while inaugurating K4 project also said that it should be completed in 2 years then why not. K4 project has been inaugurated 4 times so far but till date this project has not been completed.
Amir Jamaat said that Bilawal Bhutto has been an obstacle in the project for the last 15 years. During the tenure of former City Nazim Nimatullah Khan, the work on the four project had started.
