The US Air Force will award a contract for sixth generation fighter jets in 2024.
In its statement, the Air Force said that it wants to bring innovation in its planes against China’s military technology.
The Air Force has issued a document to airlines based on their technical requirements.
Companies such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Northrop are involved in the race to build a new sixth generation fighter jet for the US Air Force.
This new aircraft will replace the existing F-22 Raptor which will be involved in the war with drones.
