Karachi: After the arrest of Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, SP Shoaib Memon, who was in charge of the security of Insaf House and Shaara Faisal, was removed from his post for not dispersing PTI workers who gathered outside Insaf House in Karachi.
According to police sources, SP Shoaib Memon was deputed to control the law and order situation outside Insaf House and Shariah Faisal, but SP Shoaib Memon failed to disperse the political activists and fled the scene on the pretext of injury. Gone.
According to details, on May 9, the SP failed to disperse the Tehreek-e-Insaaf workers initially, after which the political workers set fire to the People’s Bus, set fire to the prisoners’ van and also attacked a police mobile. Sindh Rangers and police posts were also set on fire.
SP Shoaib Memon failed to control the situation and left after reporting injuries and did not come in contact with higher police officers for 3 days.
According to police sources, the officers posted in the district informed Additional IG Karachi Javed Alam Odhu about this matter. After investigation, SP Shoaib Memon was removed from the post, SP Jamshed Shoaib Memon has been directed to report to Karachi Police Office.
