Sports Advisor of Punjab Wahab Riaz has met Hockey Olympian Zahid Sharif.
On this occasion, Wahab Riaz said that all the heroes associated with sports are the glory and identity of our country, Zahid Sharif has made the name of the country bright at the global level.
Wahab Riaz said that there is a special package for veterans in the Punjab Sports Endowment Fund, the Punjab government has announced a monthly stipend of Rs 35,000 for them.
He said that we are all with him in difficult times, always present for the welfare of players across the country including Punjab.
Sports Advisor Punjab said that they are bringing a historic package for the players in the next financial budget.
Olympian Zahid Sharif is suffering from a heart problem and he appealed to the government for support in health and other matters.
Wahab Riaz had announced the monthly stipend while taking notice of his appeal.
