Shahid Afridi, the former captain of the Pakistan cricket team, appealed to the Sindh government regarding the establishment of a cricket academy in Karachi.

Shahid Afridi visited the ground at Wangi Goth in West District and promised to provide sports facilities to the children there.

Shahid Afridi also met Goth Sardar and told about the sports academy.

It should be noted that Shahid Afridi has applied to the Sindh government for an academy many times before.
