Lahore: The district administration, re-implementing the energy saving policy, issued orders to close the markets and marriage halls across the city at 10 pm.
Deputy Commissioner Lahore Rafia Haider said that strict implementation of the environmental pollution reduction and energy saving policy is starting again from March 28, under which the markets and marriage halls across the city will be closed at 10 pm.
He said that all the restaurants and cafes of Lahore will be allowed to open till 11 pm while home delivery will be allowed till 12:30 pm.
Deputy Commissioner Lahore ordered to strictly implement the working hours of markets, hotels, restaurants and appointed Additional Deputy Commissioner as the focal person and also directed to submit reports on daily basis.
DC Lahore directed that the stunt commissioners should ensure the implementation of fixed working hours in their areas.
