Warning from Saudi authorities regarding fireworks

RIYADH: The Saudi Public Prosecution has criminalized the manufacture, sale or purchase of fireworks, punishable by imprisonment and fines.

According to Urdu News, the Saudi Public Prosecution has said that making, trading or smuggling fireworks is a punishable offense and is punishable by imprisonment and fine.

The Public Prosecution said on its Twitter that it is a crime under Saudi law to manufacture, store, export, import, deal, destroy or smuggle fireworks.

According to the prosecution, no activity in this regard is valid without the permission of the Ministry of Interior.

The Public Prosecution has warned that anyone who smuggles or manufactures or trades in fireworks will be punished with 6 months imprisonment and a fine of up to 1 lakh Riyals.
