Three British nationals are being held by the Taliban in Afghanistan.
According to a news agency report from London, the three detainees include a tourist, a charity doctor and a citizen who runs a hotel in Kabul.
However, the details of how long these people have been in the custody of the Taliban have not been revealed.
A spokesman for the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth and Development Office says that it is working hard to secure consular contact with British nationals and support the families of those detained.
