Every year, millions of Muslims from all over the world visit the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah for Hajj and Umrah, but the majority of people are unaware of the Arab rules and regulations.

In this regard, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has prepared a new list of guidelines for pilgrims to take pictures and make videos at Islam’s holiest sites.

Recently, a statement issued by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that in the light of the sanctity of Harmaen Sharif, the pilgrims must follow the following manners while protecting the rights of others.

1- Pilgrims cannot take pictures of other people without permission.

2- Pilgrims are not allowed to take pictures of other people during prayer.

3- Pilgrims are instructed not to disturb other people during worship.

Earlier, rulers in Saudi Arabia have banned performing Umrah more than once during the holy month of Ramadan.

In this regard, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has clarified that pilgrims are not allowed to perform Umrah more than once during the month of Ramadan, because during the holy month of Ramadan, millions of pilgrims visit the kingdom to perform Umrah. Therefore, this ban has been implemented to facilitate all pilgrims to perform rituals easily and comfortably.
