It has been revealed that 8 robberies have taken place in a store in Rawalpindi during 8 years, the owner approached the police on each robbery but till now no accused could be caught.
According to Express News, a historic case of poor investigation by the Rawalpindi police has come to light, there have been eight incidents of robbery at a store located in Lane Five during 8 years. Due to collusion, the dacoits are roaming free till today, while the CCTV footage of the last incident was also given to the police, but no accused could be caught.
In this regard, the businessman said that since 2016, there has been a robbery at my store every year, every year the police remain silent by registering an FIR. That is the eighth robbery at my store.
The businessman said that he called Rescue 15 during the incident, an official of Rawalpindi Police reached the spot after 2 hours, also gave the CCTV footage of the recent incident to the police but nothing happened.
He said that every year, he gave requests to all the officers, including IG Punjab, for every robbery incident, but nothing happened. I am so disappointed with the Rawalpindi police that I will not report to the police if a robbery happens in the future.
