bill to: For the first time after the Taliban regime in Afghanistan, women anchors did a live show on Women’s Day. The host and guest of the show were women and all wore burqas and covered their faces.

A live program was aired on the occasion of International Women’s Day in Afghanistan’s broadcasting organization Tolo News. In which journalist Asma Khogyani was the host while women who played prominent roles in their respective fields participated in the guests.

It should be noted that since the Taliban came to power in August last year, female journalists were barred from working on the channel and female anchors were replaced by male Taliban anchors.

These women spoke about the outstanding performance in their fields and emphasized the need for women’s education and employment.

It should be remembered that the Taliban government has still banned women’s jobs and education for secondary school students despite international pressure.
